What My Clients Say
-
What if I miss a session? You can literally jump in at any time in the series so please don’t worry if you are unable to attend the first few sessions or can't make all of them. The sessions are designed to provide you freedom and flexibility to start when you're ready and when you can. Feel free to attend different days/times to suit your schedule.
-
What to do on arrival? You will enter the car park – please park in any available space, except any that are reserved. If you cannot find a space, follow the signs for the overflow car park and then make your way back to the clubhouse on foot. Please be aware of golfers on the course. We will meet by the pro shop, to the front left of the clubhouse main entrance (please ask someone if you are unsure where to go). I intend to be there to welcome you, however, if I’m not for some reason, just wait and introduce yourself if you see others gathering. Try to be aware of golfers on the course in terms of noise levels. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early so we can start on time. If you’re running late, please WhatsApp Kat 07939 252977. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries, otherwise I look forward to seeing you at your first session and welcoming you to the WGC Golfing Community!

Do I need my own golf clubs? No. If you do not already have clubs, they can be provided for you during the sessions – just let us know. If you do have your own clubs, please bring your 7 iron, sand wedge and putter as a minimum, plus a few balls and tees if you have any. Professional advice can be provided when the time is right to get your own.
-
Where do sessions take place?Sessions take place at Waterlooville Golf Club, Cherry Tree Road, Cowplain, Waterlooville, Hants PO8 8AP The club is located just a few minutes from the J3 A3(M) CLICK FOR MAP
-
What if I can’t attend the taster? There will be a series of sessions following the taster which you can join at any time or take individual sessions if you prefer. It really does not matter which session you start on as you will be learning something new every time. The important thing is to just get started!
-
I’ve never played before, does that matter?Absolutely not! The taster session is perfect for new golfers, as well as those who may have tried golf once or twice before but not had the opportunity to take it up longer-term or get on the golf course before.
-
What if it rains? There's no such thing as bad weather - just unsuitable clothing, so please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the conditions. If the weather forecast really is terrible, don't worry, Kat will contact you to advise what's happening.
-
What will I learn and how are love.golf sessions different?Traditionally, golf coaching takes place on the driving range. We take an alternative approach, based on proven academic studies and market research, that shows a preference to learn through the actual playing of the game within a supported environment. Each session is carefully designed to provide you and your fellow love.golf participants with a memorable experience. The focus is on learning through play, so you’ll be surprised to find yourself on the golf course in your first session! It is an active and empowering experience; probably not what you are expecting golf to be. Beyond your first taster experience, you may wish to commit to a programme where you will learn everything you need through playing golf!
-
What do I wear?We will be outside and on the golf course during the session and whilst there is no dress code initially, I recommend you wear something comfy so you can still move easily and swing a club, and suitable for the weather. Wear flat shoes with some grip if you don't have golf shoes, e.g., desk shoes/flat trainers. Bring a hat, suncream and water in the summer months, and thin layers with a hat, lightweight waterproof jacket, scarf and gloves in the colder, wetter months. Handbags should be left (out of sight) in your car.
